Hello, my name is
James Cardichon
I am currently pursuing my Master's in Digital Social Media at the University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. During undergrad, I majored in Communication and double minored in Marketing and Music Industry. I am a multifaceted creative and self-starter with experience in Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, Social Media Management, Music & Film Production, Stage Management, Live Music, Event Planning, Photography, Videography, and Entrepreneurship.
I am highly engaged with several different communities on USC's campus holding leadership positions on the executive boards of organizations including the Black Student Assembly as this year’s Greek Liaison and the Brother’s Breaking B.R.E.A.D Public Relations Chair. In addition to my extra-curricular activities, as president of my fraternity’s chapter on campus, I organize and volunteer at several different community service initiatives throughout the year such as clothing drives and food distributions for the homeless in the Los Angeles area.
As a first-generation student, I am driven, continuously looking for ways to improve while striving for excellence and looking to learn and grow as a strong professional in the entertainment, advertising, music, or sales industries. I am also looking forward to my future endeavors by creating connections to expand my business network. I have great interpersonal, written, and organizational skills and hope to build a platform where I will be able to touch the lives of not only those around me but also those in need globally and ultimately make an impact wherever I can.
Overall, with my background, creative thinking, and professional track record, I can quickly adapt to fit onto any team and/or setting. I hope to utilize my skills in the workplace as I am currently looking for opportunities in marketing, advertising, sales, and music industry.
